You must think like a Marketer and not like a Salesman.
A Salesman is one who goes door to door with a basket of products and promotes them in the hope that someone will buy. That is his strategy in a nutshell. If the customer is not interested in one product, the salesman offers him another.
A Marketer on the other hand develops a brand which attracts people to it. He uses the principles of Attraction marketing to build his personal brand as an expert which automatically attracts people from the target audience. A Marketer develops relationships with other Facebook users based on trust and builds credibility first.

Join Relevant Facebook Groups
Search for groups on Facebook related to your business. If you are a network marketer, join all the groups on network marketing. Specifically, find groups which have a narrow focus rather than a broad focus. For instance, if you wish to find leads, you will be able to find them from groups on health products which has a narrow focus rather than from groups on online marketing, which has a broader focus. Another way is to find out the experts in your industry and join their groups.
Once you are a member of a group, start developing relationships with other members and get them to become your friends. This way you will increase your personal network. Write an attractive profile which tells others about you as a person and how you are helping others in their common field. Establish yourself as an expert.
Start a Facebook Group
You could start your own Facebook group and invite your friends to join it. With your own group, you have the responsibility of posting valuable content and resources which is of use to your network.
Invite Friends to your Page
Would you like to see other people posting their business opportunity on your wall? Would you not get angry with such people? So it is obvious that you should never advertise directly on other people’s walls. Instead, get them to visit your page. If you have written an article, post it to your Facebook Notes. Spamming means sending messages to people you do not know. Facebook allows people to write on other people’s wall but this facility must not be misused. Find Partners
A great way to increase your reach is to find partners. Find other people in your field who are managing groups. Then partner with them by cross promoting that business to your members and your business to that group’s members. It is not difficult to find partners since everyone wants to promote their business to a larger audience. However, take care to choose partnerships which are mutually beneficial.
