How Can I Market with Google Buzz & How Can I Get More Followers on Google Buzz?

Are you wondering what Google Buzz is all about?   How can what Google just released benefit you?   The cool thing about Google Buzz is that is nestled right into your Gmail account.   You can start a conversation about any topic on this planet.   You can share your thoughts, your videos, your pictures, your links, and just about anything you want to with Google Buzz.    You can make your content either public or private.  All that one need is to open up a free Gmail account at www.gmail.com.  Here is the beautiful thing about Google Buzz; it is a marketer’s heaven.   Just like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and the thousands of other social media sites out there, Google Buzz can be used for marketing products and services.

Marketing with Google Buzz is all about building relationships with other people in your niche.  It is about sharing great content with people who want or can use the information that you provide them.  It is not about spamming your link out to thousands of people and hoping that someone buys something from you.  It is all about sharing something of value that will enable a potential customer or business partner to better themselves or their own business.

The first thing that one should do when setting up a Google Buzz account is set up your Google profile.  Your profile should be about who you are, what makes you unique and what you bring to the table.  Remember when you are creating your profile that it is all about relationship building.   So think about this; when you are going to someone else’s social media site, do you enjoy visiting those who talk all about their business or those who are empowered, make you feel good and offer something of value to you.

When you are setting up your profile, include links to your personal blog, your Facebook account, your twitter account and any other social media site that you utilize.  This way your followers can find you and connect with you on their other favorite media sites as well.

Obviously, you will want to begin following those who are in your address book inside of Gmail.  In order to find other great people to begin to follow, click on find more people to follow and put in keywords that pertain to your niche.   As with any other social media site, the rule of thumb is to follow back those who follow you.    Start with following at least 100 new people single day.   In the beginning, you may follow more than follow you but as times goes the playing field will even out.

Posting great content and commenting on other’s content is how you can begin building relationships with fellow Buzzers.  It will keep other people wanting to watch your posts, read your profile and click on your links.  So keep your content interesting, fun, and spend some time commenting on other people’s buzz.  Make sure that you take the time to beginning following other Goggle Buzz accounts every day.   Watch and see how your followers increase everyday!
