 Today I have a very important message to share with you. This message is something that will have a deep impact on the way you understand and live your life. It is about success and leadership, two things about which I am most passionate to help others with.

I am going to invite you to become the leaders of the future – leaders who are full of love, compassion, purpose and creativity. If you really want to make a difference to the world, to the people you meet, to your friends and family, then this message is one of the most important ones you will receive.

Let me begin with Success.

Success as most people understand is about being better, achieving this and that, winning, and getting the best out of life. Success usually means having a big house, driving an expensive car, going on vacations to exotic places and living a lavish lifestyle.

While these outward appearances of success are worshipped and idolized by people, that is not the complete picture. When people only think of themselves and what they are getting, success hides behind its pleasant façade the ugliness of greed, hatred, and vanity.

When the sole purpose of aiming for success is personal gain – What am I getting out of this? How much am I earning? And so on – It becomes truly contemptible. It creates a rift in the natural working of the Universe, which is a seamless flow of energy with constant coming and going, giving and receiving, moving and flowing.

I would like to change the definition of Success from “Getting Everything You Want” to “Giving Everything You Can”. If you want to be the leaders of the future, you must change your paradigm of success from “How much you can get” to “How much you can give”.

This is true because a true leader does not use other people and their resources to become successful. A true leader always gives back to the universe what he has got from it. If the Universe has given him some talent, he will use that talent for the benefit of others. If the Universe gives him wealth, he gives it back and thus creates a channel to receive more from the Universe.

Giving is something that comes from the heart. It is based on love, compassion and a sense of community with the whole of mankind. Giving leads to a sense of purpose and fulfillment in life which does not come from simply earning a high status in life.

So the question is what must you give?

It is not necessary that you must give only money. You can give your advice and suggestions, your energy and motivation, your expertise and knowledge. When you give others freely of yourself, you open up the channels through which the Universe gives more to you.

Now let me say something about Leadership.

If a leader is bothered only about his own success and growth, then all the people who he influences will begin to be concerned about their own growth and success. And very soon, conflicts will arise. And this is one of the most important things to realize in today’s world.

A true leader understands that if at all human beings have to live affectionately with each other, the “Me” and “Mine” has to go. And therefore he sets a personal example by changing his approach to leadership and success.

So only when you begin to start asking yourself what you are giving back to people, you start changing your Success and Leadership paradigm which leads to greater harmony in relationships and mutual good.
