As I look back over the past five months, I see that I had lost the ability to gain perspective. You see, my husband has been going through some pretty traumatic heart problems. He had one heart procedure and one heart surgery all in the space of six weeks. He then developed complications after his last heart surgery.
Throughout this time, I was so grateful for the presence of the internet. If I had not taken the time 4 years ago to develop an online business, I would not have been able to be home with him. I would have been at work during the day, worrying and wondering if my husband was okay.
But let me tell you, this was not an easy time….as I let Allen’s health problems crowd my mind, I lost perspective. I forgot to take the time to do my daily personal development, stay in touch with my Saviour and to focus on the good things in my life. I began to go down that slippery slope. I began to see the Law of Attraction manifest itself in my life…and not in such a great way.
I began some friendships with some people who I thought were fun and great. But I did not notice the warning signs all around me. The little signs that ring in the back of your mind like a little bell that say run run as fast as you can. As I spent more and more time with these people, I found myself worrying over things and doing things that I never would have done before. I found myself saying and acting in ways that I would have never even considered before.
As the weeks went by, I found that I had began to become more negative and I started drifting down a pathway that was turning my once so happy life into a nightmare. The Law of Attraction was truly at work in my life. I was vibrating at a level that was SO BELOW where I used to be. So I had began attracting so much negative energy, negative circumstances and negative people into my life. It was then that I began to lose perspective as to what was important in my life. My family, my relationship with my Lord, and even my financial life began to suffer as a result of it – just because I lost the ability to gain perspective about my surroundings.
It took a major situation to develop in my life before I realized what had happened. Once again, I had to really take some time to soul search. As I was soul searching this past weekend…I realized that it was me, myself and I who was at fault. No one else, not my so-called friends, not my situation, not my husband’s health but just plain old me! I was the one at fault. I had to own my own choices and own my own responsibilities.
That was a bitter pill for me to swallow. I thought I had learned that lesson 5 years ago. Apparently, I needed to learn it again and learn it better the 2nd time around.
It took weeks of heartache and bad choices for me to realize that I had to own my own choices, that the Law of Attraction does really work in our lives…for better or for worse.:-)
Now, that I had the ability to gain perspective again, I wanted to share it with you. That you too have the ability to control your world around you. You have the ability to have the Law of Attraction vibrate at really high levels in your life. You may not have the ability to completely control your surroundings at this precise moment, because they are result of your past choices. BUT, you have the ability to make immediate choices right here and right now that can control your future. They can be your future personal and financial life.
Some of the things that you can do starting right now are:
1. Do 30 minutes of personal development every single day.
2. Spend at least 10 minutes a day in complete quiet…reflecting on your life.
3. Eat healthy
4. Exercise 10 to 15 minutes every day. Even if that just means walking up and down the stairs at work.
5. Set realistic goals for yourself and your business
6. Develop a DMO – a daily mode of operation.
7. Surround yourself with healthy people
8. Cut anything negative out of your life right now!
As a result you will start to see immediate improvements in both your personal and financial life. Remember, it may not be perfect at first, but once you start vibrating at a higher level…you will began to have a clearer perspective on your life and the Law of Attraction will began manifesting itself at an even higher level in your life.
God Bless You!

I know what you are talking about. Negative thoughts and things can really take you down the wrong path. It is good to gain perspective and get back on track. Spending time reflecting and praying does help.

Hi Angela,
What a fantastic reminder that we all must consistently and constantly stay on the positive road of thoughts and actions!
No matter how bad, horrible, inconvenient, troubling, worrisome or nightmarish our situation is, it is crucial to speak positive things into your life! We have to watch what we say with our mouths and constantly speak and reaffirm the positives!
I know we go through things in life that sometimes we just don’t understand, however, it is something we have to go through, for whatever reason. We have to stay strong, seek God, have faith and hope and just keep on keeping on. Giving up is not an option.
Thanks Angela and I hope your husband is much better. God Bless you and your family!
May Gods favor be yours today and always!
Deb

Hi Ange, Thanks for a very timely reminder. We start taking things for granted, loose perspective and wonder who stoll our cheese. You have reminded me to be more dilligent in checking in on myself.
I wish your husband a speedy recovery.
God Bless :0)

Great post about Twitter. I think Twitter is going to be one of the better networks because of the fact that it is supported by so many industries. I also think when Twitter reveals some of it’s new functions, returning traffic will go up to show the real growth of the network. Keep up the good work!
